Teams representing Great Britain, Brazil, Pakistan and Israel were at MCU Park in Coney Island this weekend competing for a spot in the World Baseball Classic. But to some in the stands, the weekend was meaningful for different reasons altogether, filling them with pride, happiness and purpose.
