Gas or electric induction hob? What’s best for our new kitchen

My partner and I can’t decide and we’re at loggerheads

This week’s question My partner and I are at loggerheads. He wants a gas hob for our hew kitchen, I want an electric induction hob. He says gas is more “controllable” but I think the induction hobs are just as fast and responsive – and more energy efficient. Will I regret forcing a hob on him?
