The Berghaus Dragon’s Back Race is regarded as one of the toughest mountain races in the world: a five day, 300km route with 16,000m of ascent across the mountainous spine of Wales. This year’s race saw 140 competitors cross the start line but just 64 finished every stage. And of the top six finishers overall, three were female, including a hugely impressive performance by Jasmin Paris (pictured) to finish second in the race.
